ABSTRACT
O linfangioma cístico retrofaríngeo é uma malformação rara, geralmente única, que pode na criança coexistir com outra malformação cervical como a laringomalácia. Mesmo sem evidências clínicas de massa tumoral pode manifestar-se com dispnéia durante o sono (SAHOS). É descrito um caso raro de linfangioma cístico retofaríngeo em um criança de 15 meses de idade, diagnosticado por ressonância magnética (MRI) e tratado por cirurgia.
The cystic lynphangioma is a rare malformation, generally unique, which can coexist with another neck malformation like laryngomalacia in the child. Even without clinical evidence of tumoral mass, it can manifest with dyspnea during the sleep. It is described as a rare case of cystic lymphangioma of retropharinge in a 15-month-old child that was diagnosed by MRI and treated by surgery.
